It includes strategies like deep breathing, mindfulness and grounding techniques, and several pages with prompts to use their imagination, draw, color, or write. here are also opportunities to write things like song lyrics and positive thoughts that can help them as they go through their day to day life.

My Happiness Journal

When you are feeling sad or upset, a good coping skill to try is thinking of things that make you happy. But it can be hard to remember the good stuff in those tough moments. An easy way to remember is to draw or write about what makes you happy, capture happy memories, and look at keepsakes from those fantastic times. By using this journal, you can keep track of all the things that make you smile and bring you joy.

Distraction Detour

The Distraction Detour Activity Book invites children to do fun and playful activities. Play is a natural stress reliever for kids and this book has lots of ideas to encourage play, creativity, and use their imagination as a way to give their brain a break.

Sensational Sensory

Some kids LOVE to use their senses. And they can use their senses to help manage their BIG emotions. In the Sensational Sensory Activity book, there are thirty sensory coping skills for kids to try in real life! Sensational Sensory provides three opportunities (coloring, drawing, and writing) for the child to try each of the coping skills and subsequently record their experiences on the activity pages.

Coming Soon: Marvelous Movement

When children have big emotions, sometimes their body gets full of energy. When they feel that energy in their body, it makes sense to find some safe ways to get that energy out! This activity book is all about healthy ways to help kids move and cope with big feelings. There are some ideas that are small body movements, like squeezing dough, or flexing and pointing your feet, or playing with a fidget. Other ideas use your whole body, like jumping jacks, dancing, or riding a scooter. There are some strategies that work outside, some that work inside, and some that work in both locations.
