I’ve been working on a new book, focused on helping adults find their coping skills.
Why am I doing this?
When we have our own children or are working with children, it can highlight where we need to work on ourselves to manage our big emotions
We may never have been explicitly taught about coping skills
If we can’t be calm, we can worsen a tough situation. We want to help kids by co-regulating when them, but to do that we need to be able to regulate ourselves
We want to be good role models for the children in our lives
So, I’m in the process of writing a book for adults about coping skills. I’m gathering information about what types of coping skills adults use and I could use your feedback. Feel free to fill in the survey below to help me as I write. Thank you in advance!
