Coping Skills Community Hub

Did you know it’s been a year since the Hub launched? Every month, I’ve added new coping skills and a LOT more.

Here’s an idea of what is available in the Hub:

Resource Library

Over 100 coping skills are in the Hub, with more added monthly. The resource library is organized by coping style. All coping skills have a downloadable visual card to help kids use the coping skills when they need them. Plus, there is a section for coping skills for adults so we can find, practice, and model healthy coping for the kids in our lives.

Expert Training and Tips

In the Hub, you'll get access to webinars and short videos of experts like Natasha Daniels, Dr. Dawn Huebner, Katie Hurley, and Jennifer Cohen Harper sharing their wisdom and ideas to help support the kids in our lives. You'll also get access to interviews I've done where I share coping strategies. More are added each month!

Courses and Resources

In the Hub, you also have access to the following courses and resources :

Printable Coping Cue Cards ($127 value)

Our Reset Space for School ($59 value)

Our Reset Space for Families ($39 value)

Coping Skills for Teens with Anxiety Course ($99 value)

Mini Lesson: Five Skills for Kids

Mini Lesson: Five Skills for Teens

Additional courses and resources are added to the Hub regularly!

To celebrate the first anniversary of the Hub, I’ll be hosting an Open House Week.

Open House Week - April 1st to April 5th

What is an Open House Week?

If you’ve ever wondered what it was like to be a member of the Hub, this is your chance to find out! Here’s what will happen during the Open House Week:

  • Live sessions Monday through Thursday at 11am ET focused on understanding what a coping skill is, starting conversations with your kids and teens, using the checklist, and setting up your home or school for success! Don’t worry if you can’t make it - replays of any live sessions will be available in the Members Area of the Hub.

  • A chance to pick my brains on a live Q&A call on Friday - get my feedback on any issue you have related to coping skills.

  • Access to all of our membership content—a lot has changed and been added to the Hub since it launched one year ago. I’ve added courses, roadmaps, printable cue cards, a section to help adults discover their own coping skills, more videos with tips from experts, and, of course, lots more coping skills!

I’ll be offering a 10 day free trial so you can get a taste of what it’s like to be a member.

About the Hub Founder: Janine Halloran, M.A., LMHC

I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been working with children, teens, and their families for more than 20 years. I’ve been helping children and teens build their coping skills throughout my career in various settings, including schools, mental health clinics, and I continue to do so in my private practice.

I founded Coping Skills for Kids to help children and teens learn healthy and safe ways to manage big feelings. I'm the author of several books, including the bestselling Coping Skills for Kids Workbook, the Coping Skills for Teens Workbook, and the Coping Skills for Kids Activities Book Series.

Not only am I a professional who works with kids and teens, but I'm also a mom of two teens myself. I put these strategies into practice as a professional and in my personal life!
